YouTube - Jackson Browne - Barricades of Heaven

One more song. This one reminds me of some time I spent alone in L.A. Reminds me of my old friend Fred, who lives up near Reno now. Still playing his guitar. Pages turning... Gotta bring your own redemption when ya come...

I had a wonderful show last Sat. Thanks for thinking of me. But as I sat in the audience I realized that all the money, food is starting to pay off. Anthony and Robert are really turning into professionals right before my eyes. So it does work generation to generation. So pass it on. It works. It was really fun to do "Mojo" in front of all the people who come through my grocery line. "Ooh Fred, I didn't know you could sing," they said. I just said "I'll to anything to pick your pocket for once again, now give me a donation please." I guessing a couple thousand dollars raised, not bad for a high school project. The moral to the story is: I'm not only passing the music to my son, I'm giving you a musician with a heart. We are available on the weekends. Fred

Great to hear from Fred, with whom I spent much time walking the streets of London, England. We were there after the Swinging London scene crashed and burned. Carnaby Street. Abbey Road. Soho. Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club. Le Kilt. London in the early 1970s. What a great place to hang out with my friend, the rock star. Freddy Vee.
