Just visited Mike Daisey's blog and found this. I had another blog before Fence Post. Bid farewell to that In January. Announced ( To a C Span like congressional audience, i.e. almost no one there listening ) that I'd given it up. I was in Florida at the time. I came back to Rhode Island, which was cold and wet and depressing. Rhode Island. Where there's not a whole lot to do in the winter. And I started a new blog.
It got me through the winter. It's spring now, although the cold westerlys that blow in off the Atlantic disguise that meteorological fact...
It's spring now. And a slice of the pie that is me thinks:
" Hope is the thing with feathers. "
I saw a robin today.

I've been called alot of things in my life but never a "C-Span" viewer. As a journalist take a lesson from Imus and watch what you call your loyal readers, Thank You.
Wasn't meant as a negative, Fred! I would never take a shot at my loyal Fence Postistas. Just comparing how few people listen to the speeches congressmen make to how few readers my previous blog had. Fence Post has more, and I'm hoping for even more. So. You are not a C-Span viewer, although I don't think that's a bad thing either. Stay loyal and stay tuned.
