You get used to depending on your laptop to connect you to the world. It's like you have a closet full of empty bottles into which you stuff your messages. Then throw them overboard and hope someone will find what you've tossed on some beach somewhere.

I opened that closet this afternoon. All the bottles were broken.

At least that's what it feels like. Last week I was having all kinds of problems posting to my previous blog: Progress Notes. So I started a new one, this one. Now I'm having all kinds of problems sending and receiving emails. And instead of linking folks to this blog ( When I comment on others' blogs ), they are linked back to my defunct blog.

Is anybody out there?
