A.... robin has built her nest right outside my kitchen window. I am actually watching her hunker down and turn slowly in measured counterclockwise moves. Her wings are quivering. I think that she is laying eggs and that I should look away.
A helicopter parent I am not, so I will not be covering her offspring with an umbrella. I have had a couple of babies myself though, so I may offer Tylenol to the mom.
